Timothy A. Babcock

Timothy A. Babcock, 45, of Copenhagen, New York, passed away on July 28, 2024, at the Wynn Hospital in Utica, New York, following health complications and a stroke. 

He was born on July 21, 1979, in Watertown, New York, the son of Lynn and Victoria (Nicholas) Babcock. Timothy graduated from Watertown High School in 1997. He had a diverse career, having worked at Mavis Discount Tire, Sam’s Club, Walmart in the Town of LeRay, and for 15 years, at Carthage Tire Service. He had a passion for working on and playing with cars. 

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Olivia Babcock, of Watertown, NY; his mother, Victoria L. Babcock, of Copenhagen, NY; a sister and brother-in-law, Tanya M. and Stephen Gage, of Watertown, NY; one niece, Amanda Gage; three nephews, Brian, Joseph, and Conner Gage; two great-nephews, Maverick and Chase; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

He is pre-deceased by his father, Lynn Babcock. 

A calling hour will be held from 11 a.m. until Noon on Thursday  August 1st at the Bruce Funeral Home 131 Maple St., Black River, followed immediately by a funeral service at Noon. Burial will take place in the Black River Cemetery.
