Steven Guy Henson

Watertown, NY — Steven Guy Henson, 69, of Watertown, passed away on February 16, 2026, at Samaritan Medical Center.

Steven was born on October 13, 1956, in Oakland, California, the son of Neal and  Catherine (Lukhe) Henson. He graduated from Skyline High School in Oakland, California. Following school, Steven began a lifelong career as a truck driver, a profession he dedicated himself to until his medical retirement in 2015.

Steven enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lorelei and Bradley Pawlowski of Watertown; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, John Anderson of California, Barry (Lisa) Henson of Texas, and Kevin (Angelique) Henson of California; and his sister and brother-in-law, Dona and Jim Thompson of Oregon. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Auburn Perez, Tremec Salmi, Paxton Salmi, Gauge Salmi, and Maximus Pawlowski, all of Watertown; one great-grandchild, Zxander Salmi of Watertown; and another great-grandchild, Pyper Salmi, who is expected soon. Steven is further survived by his beloved mother, Catherine McJilton of Texas.

He was predeceased by his father, Neal Henson.

Arrangements are with Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. In keeping with Steven’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services at this time.
