Sharon A. Shuford

Sharon A. Shuford, 74, of Watertown, New York, passed away on June 11, 2024, at her home. 

She was born on December 16, 1949, in Watertown, New York, the daughter of Carl and Alice (Nugent) Shuford.  Sharon attended Watertown schools and worked for Watertown Linens on State Street for several years. She also devotedly cared for her mother during her illness until her passing. 

Sharon is survived by her sister, Beverly Maxim of Rochester, NY, and her cousin, Donna M. Borcy of Watertown, NY. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, William and Glenn Nugent. 

Arrangements are with the Hart and Bruce Funeral Home. It was Sharon’s wish to be cremated, and burial will take place at the convenience of the family in North Watertown Cemetery.
