Patrick A. LaShomb Sr.

Patrick A. LaShomb Sr., 53, of Black River, NY, passed away on August 30, 2025. He was born on December 18, 1971, in Watertown, NY, the son of John and Sylvia Jandreau LaShomb.

Patrick grew up in Maine, where he lived for 35 years before returning to New York. A dedicated member of his community, he served as a volunteer EMT and firefighter. Patrick had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, traveling, and taking long car rides. A fan of both country and rock music, he also had a passion for sports—particularly basketball—and cherished every moment spent playing with his children.

He is survived by his four children: Patrick A. LaShomb Jr. of Lewiston, Maine; Shenoa LaShomb of Maine; Carson McGregor of New York; and Sasha LaShomb of New York. He also leaves behind his beloved granddaughter, Summer LaShomb; three brothers: Casey LaShomb, Michael LaShomb (and his fiancée Melissa Uhl), and Steve Haskell; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home.
