Nathaniel Cruz

Nathaniel Cruz, 66, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, surrounded by his beloved daughters.

Nathaniel was a devoted father, grandfather, and loved one whose presence meant so much to all who knew him. He is survived by his two daughters, Jacqueline and Nathalie; his cherished grandchildren, Adrian and Dakota, who brought him immense pride and joy.

He was born on December 19, 1959, in the Philippines. In 1983, he moved to the United States, where he raised his daughters in New York City. He eventually relocated to Watertown, New York.

Nathaniel was known for his optimism, strength, and wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed cooking and eating, watching football, playing basketball, swimming, spending time at the library, and studying history, a subject he deeply loved. Above all, he treasured his family, his friends and the time he spent with them.

Nathaniel will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family will hold a celebration of life at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Watertown.  The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 11:30a.m. The memorial service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m.
