Michael G. McMahon

Michael G. McMahon, 66, of 142 Mechanic St., Watertown, passed February 11, 2018 at his home.

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home.  There will be no calling hours or funeral service.  Burial will take place in the Glenwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Born on July 25, 1951 in Gouverneur, NY, son of John and Ircel (Griffith) McMahon, he graduated from Lisbon High School. Following school he worked at Ames Department Store in Watertown and later became a traveling salesman selling magazines across the country.

He married Mary B. Hallsworth on September 14, 1979, in Watertown.  The couple lived in Watertown before moving to Royersford, PA., where they lived for 20 years.  Mr. McMahon was a chemical engineer for Commodore Computer Co., retiring in 1989.  The couple returned to Watertown in 1999. 

Among his survivors are five brothers and their wives, David and Joyce McMahon, Ogdensburg, Leonard and Judy McMahon, FL, John and Lynda McMahon, FL, Daniel and Rhonda McMahon, OH, Randy and Rebecca McMahon, PA, two sisters  in law, Paula McMahon, Ogdensburg and Deborah Burns, Ogdensburg, several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his loving wife, Mary who died on March 13, 2002 and two brothers, Ronald and Douglas McMahon.
