Linda J. Meyer

Linda J. Meyer, 62, of Watertown, NY, passed away unexpectedly on December 25, 2024, at the Samaritan Medical Center.

Born on January 13, 1962, in Buffalo, NY, Linda was the daughter of Richard and Joan McCrossan. She graduated from Frontier High School in Hamburg, NY, and attended Bryant and Stratton College and later Jefferson Community College.

Linda dedicated her career to managing stock and bond portfolios at a bank in Hamburg, NY, before retiring and relocating to Watertown in 2009 to be closer to her son.

She found joy in crocheting, reading, arts and crafts, gardening ,spending time outdoors and volunteering.  Above all, Linda cherished her time with her grandchildren and her church family and her beloved dog, Shelby and cat, Carmel.

Linda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard M. and Cassandra A. McCrossan of Watertown; two grandchildren, Kendra A. and Jax M.A. McCrossan; her brother, Michael McCrossan of Hamburg, NY; her stepmother, Gillian McCrossan of Lackawanna, NY.and her friends and family of Emmanuel Congregational Church.

The family will hold a memorial service at Emmanuel Congregational Church in Watertown, on Monday, January 13th at 10:30 a.m., where Linda was a devoted member and found a strong sense of community.
