Lenna M. Rosbrook, 78, of 202 Creekwood Dr., Watertown, passed December 22, 2017 at her home where she was being cared by her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 28 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home 117 N. Massey St., Watertown.
Burial will be in the Evans Mills Cemetery at Noon on May 25th.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 27 at the funeral home.
She was born on February 26, 1939 in Athens, Ontario, Canada, daughter of Eva Earl.
She attended high school in Athens, Ontario and following school she married Robert J. Rosbrook of Philadelphia, NY on October 12, 1957. The couple settled in Evans Mills where she was a homemaker. In the 1980’s she received her LPN from the Jefferson Vocational Technical Center, and went on to work at Samaritan Keep Nursing Home for several years.
Mr. Rosbrook was a self employed carpenter in the local area. He passed March 12, 2002.
Lenna was a member of the Evans Mills Ladies Auxiliary, Jefferson County Volunteer Firefighters and Fire Chiefs Ladies Auxiliary, and Jefferson County Ladies Auxiliary Parade Judges Association. Lenna also enjoyed crocheting, baking, and coloring.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter in law, Lee E. and Julie M. Rosbrook, Watertown; four daughters and three sons in law, Karen L. and Steven L. Alteri, Philadelphia, Trudy A. and Patrick J. Ryan, Watertown, Kathleen M. and Randolph R Goodwin Jr., Antwerp, Christine R. Lutz, Watertown; a sister and brother in law, Maggie and Ted Hurst, Colburg, Canada; a brother in law, Tom Smith, Gananoque, Canada; her dog, Princess and 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her son, Grant Rosbrook, 3 brothers Thomas, Isaac, Donald Earl and a sister Karen Smith.
