Juanita Grace Noftsier

Juanita Grace Noftsier, 52, of Watertown, NY, passed away on May 27, 2025, at University Hospital in Syracuse following a brief illness surrounded by her loved ones.

Juanita was born on February 10, 1973, in Watertown, NY, the daughter of the late Linda L. Noftsier   She attended Watertown High School and worked for many years in the local community as a waitress and retail associate at various restaurants and stores.

In 2010, she met her fiancé, Eugene H. Archer Jr. of Lafargeville, NY, who works in construction for Ashland Home Builders. Juanita’s greatest joy was spending time with her beloved grandchildren, who brought light and love into her life.

Surviving are her fiancé, Eugene H. Archer Jr.; her son, Gavin G. Granger and his fiance Kayleigh Solar of Depauville, NY; and her grandson, Ashton Granger. She is also survived by her stepsons, Tyler (Natasha) Archer of Lafargeville, NY, and Matthew (Danielle) Archer of Carthage, NY; four step-grandchildren, Eastyn, Paislee, Zoey, and Lilyana Archer; and her father-in-law, Eugene H. Archer Sr. of New Hampshire. Juanita is also survived by her sisters, Lisa (Paul) Montondo and Lori Noftsier and fiance Ronald Hanson II, both of Watertown, NY; her brother and sister-in-law, Loid and Sandi Ellis of Zephyrhills, Florida; several nieces and nephews; and her three beloved cats, Gracey, Kiki, and Macy.

She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Linda L. Noftsier  and Donald Bedore, as well as her mother-in-law, Carolyn Archer.

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home.  A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Brookside Cemetery. 

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 14th at the home of Eugene Archer 35987 Amend Road La Fargeville.
