Dolores D. Dupell, 84, formerly of Black River, NY, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, at her home in Watertown.
Dolores was born on December 1, 1940, in Watertown, the daughter of Millard and Marjorie (Wicks) Farmer. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1958. On September 7, 1984, she married Thomas Dupell in DeFeriet, NY.
Dolores was employed at Fort Drum, where she began working as a seamstress in 1987. She continued her service there until her retirement in 2005. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and spending time with her family. She also loved shopping at Hobby Lobby, playing Quick Draw at her favorite restaurant, Fairgrounds Inn, and playing 31 at her granddaughters home in Watertown.
Among her survivors are her seven children and their spouses: Kim Casey, Watertown, NY; Rick Combs of Black River, NY; Julie and Doug Shaver of Florida; Gordon Burke of Florida; Mark and Allison Burke of Pennsylvania; Lou Anne and Ricky Davis of Theresa, NY; and Robert and Faye Dupell of Clayton, NY. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Tuesday Dupell of Florida; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; and her two sisters and brother-in-law, Jacquelyn Hodkinson of Watertown, Maxine Covell of DeFeriet, NY, and Harry Comet of Watertown, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Dupell, on January 28, 2021; her brother, Douglas Farmer; her daughter-in-law, Mary Combs; and her sister, Donna Comet.
Arrangements are entrusted to Bruce Funeral Home, Black River. A graveside service will be held April 18, 2026 in Black River Cemetery.
