Diana J. King

Diana J. King, 75, of Watertown passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Samaritan Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 25, 1948, in Watertown, New York, the daughter of Richard and Leona (Cook) Marriam.

Diana was a proud graduate of Watertown High School. At the young age of 18, she began her long and dedicated career with Jefferson County, where she worked for 44 years, retiring from the Land /Court Records Department.

She had a passion for gardening, golf and bowling, but above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.

She married Gary Pastor, who predeceased her in 1990. On April 10, 1999, she found love again and married Robert D. King.

Diana is survived by her husband, Robert; three children: Michael Dahl, Florida, Michelle Dahl, Calcium and Mark Pastor, Watertown; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; her siblings: Carole (Mark) Sutherland, Brownville, Shelley (Raymond) Guyette, Black River, and George (Sherry) Marriam, Watertown; a sister-in-law Michelle Marriam, Calcium; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents and a sister, Cindy Guyette and a brother, Harvey Marriam.

Arrangements are with Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Rutland.
