Christina Lee Lacey

Christina Lee Lacey, 46, of Watertown, NY, passed away on February 5, 2026, at Samaritan Medical Center following a brief but courageous battle with cancer over the past year.

Christina was born on August 25, 1979, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Michael D. Mahoney and Debra Evans Mahoney.

Christina attended Watertown High School. Following school she worked for various businesses throughout her life, including Jreck Subs, where she was employed for 12 years. Most recently, she worked for Answer USA, beginning on March 31, 2021, where she served as a team leader and receptionist until resigning on November 25, 2025, due to health issues.

On September 2, 2023, Christina married her longtime companion, Bill Lacey. The couple married in Watertown, where they resided together. Bill is employed as a security guard with Allied Universal Security.

Christina cherished time spent with her family and friends, especially Sunday dinners. She was a devoted member of Life Christian Life Center, where she attended church every Sunday.  She enjoyed playing poker every Saturday and loved card games such as Skip-Bo. Christina also had a deep love for darts; for the past 21 years, she and her husband played in various dart leagues throughout the area, forming lasting friendships within the dart community. Above all, Christina adored her dogs — Bruno, Ruby, and Deuce — and was known for her love of animals.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Bill Lacey, a son, Jordan M.J. Johnson and mother, Debra Mahoney all of Watertown; her grandmother, Dotty Ayers of Melbourne, FL; and her seven siblings: Farah Swanson of Pennsylvania; Greg Cowburn of West Milton, Ohio; Amber Mahoney of Palm Bay, Florida; Echo (Lance) Lockhart of York, Pennsylvania; Shy John and longtime companion Andy Stokes of Watertown; Stephanie (Milan) Klaus of Missouri; and Darren (Jessica) Mahoney. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Lisa Lacey and her companion Matt and a brother-in-law Jay Farrell, of Watertown; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her best friend Nicole Christopher of Watertown.

Christina was predeceased by her father, Michael Mahoney; her stepfather, Sheridan John; and her father and mother-in-law, Harry William and Betty Lacey, Sr.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 12, from 2–4PM and 6–8 PM at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 13, at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the spring at North Watertown Cemetery.
