Aaron E. Tenney, 43, of Watertown, NY, passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 10, 2024.
He was born on November 21, 1980, in Watertown, NY, to Terry and Sharon (Dobson) Tenney. Aaron graduated from Watertown High School in 1999 and attended Abilene Christian College in Texas for Art and Jefferson Community College, where he took courses in culinary arts. He obtained a certificate of welding from BOCES.
He worked for various restaurants across Northern New York for many years. He was a former member of the Lowville Elks Lodge. Aaron had a passion for cooking, photography, art, live music, and attending concerts. He enjoyed riding his mountain bike on trails, having bonfires, and was an avid birdwatcher who loved feeding birds. He was a creative craftsman able to repurpose discarded vintage and antique objects into sentimental pieces of art. Known for his wit and sense of humor, Aaron delighted in making people laugh.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon R. Tenney, of Watertown, NY; his sister and brother-in-law, Megan M. and Andrew Palinski of Buffalo, NY; a niece, Octavia; a nephew, Augustus; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Terry R. Tenney.
Arrangements are with the Hart and Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown. A graveside service will be held June 17th at 1pm at Brookside Cemetery.
